Thank You, Ritter Honeycutt, for building our Dream Home in LakeTree Shores
| We were very pleased with Ritter Honeycutt of Seaboard Construction who built our first-ever “house of our dreams” in LakeTree Shores, Ocean Isle Beach. Starting with a published house plan we selected, Ritter guided us as we made numerous changes (mostly bigger) to accommodate the challenging septic plan, the odd lot dimensions, and mostly larger rooms we wanted and still keep within our tight budget. |  |
We quickly realized that Ritter was no ordinary builder . . . his building standards included several unexpected amenities that were a positive surprise, such as smooth 9 foot ceilings, fully-insulated interior walls, a finished garage, lots of storage space in the attic and lots of extra structural features that you cannot see but know they’re worthwhile. Then he added some great “flair” items, such as our stylish Presidential ceiling in the great room, a classic front porch with concrete stairs that are off-set from the front of the house and our favorite screened-in patio.

Ritter was easy to work with whenever we wanted to “upgrade” or “cut costs” to match our budget and our specific style and tastes. For example, we selected custom “wrought iron-type” railings for our front porch, individual bathroom cabinetry to match our décor, upgraded double-hung windows with palladium styling, and special-order lighting fixtures in every room. |
Ritter always went “the extra mile” to make sure we were happy and gave us excellent “customer service” throughout the building process. The end result is a beautiful house which we now call our “dream home”. We’re now good neighbors and looking forward to becoming better friends.
